Hirondelle (Lausanne)-The experts' report commissioned by a longstanding French inquiry identifies the most likely missiles used in the downing of former Rwandan president Juvénal Habyarimana's plane and the likely place from which they were fired. The downing of the plane on April 6, 1994, is widely viewed as the event that sparked the Rwandan genocide. But the 328-page confidential report, of which Hirondelle has obtained a copy, does not identify the likely authors of the crime.
